Looking over the Woodland ValleyYour accommodation will be in the traditional style of the old fashioned Bell Tents. These lovely white canvas tents are spacious and light, and accommodate 4 adults or 2 adults and up to 3 little ones with a squeeze!  They come with air beds, seating, lanterns, camp kitchen equipped with cooking utensils, crockery and cutlery and an outdoor wood burner for you to use as your campfire, a welcome bonus for those chillier evenings you can also use it to BBQ on or simply to keep the midges at bay!  All this will be transported to and from each of your over night camps by us, all you need to load on your pack pony is your personal things along with your lunches (provided) and spare clothes, maps, directions etc.

The tracks that you will be following will be ancient pack pony routes, well trod and easy to follow.  Passing over the wonderful little pack pony bridges, too small and narrow for today’s means of transport, and then on through unspoilt Lakeland villages and hamlets as you go.Coniston Old Man
